Dry ice

Dry ice is carbon dioxide (CO2) in condensed form, transformed into ice at a temperature of -78.5°C. Its distinguishing feature is sublimation, i.e. changing from a solid to a gaseous form without leaving any residues. This means it leaves no residue or moisture behind, making it ideal for applications where moisture may be an issue. Dry ice offers temperatures much lower than standard water ice. It is an excellent solution for transporting and storing products that require very low temperatures. Dry ice is non-flammable and does not emit any harmful substances. It’s a safe and environmentally friendly way to cool. Perfect for storing food products, medicines, laboratory samples and many other applications. It is an excellent means of transport for products that require refrigeration over long distances.

In the food industry, perfect for storing and transporting frozen and chilled products, such as fruit, vegetables, meat and fish. In medicine, it is used to transport vaccines, blood samples, tissue and other biological materials. In the heavy and chemical industries, used for controlled cooling and cleaning in industrial processes. In the entertainment industry, it is used in impressive presentations, e.g. in show business, theater or events. In pharmaceutical transport, ideal for products that require a constant low temperature.

As a company with an established position on the technical gases market, we offer the highest quality product while ensuring the best means of transport and storage. We currently offer ice with granulation of 3 and 16 mm, produced from odorless food gases, which has a significant impact on quality. For transport and storage, we use isothermal containers with the best sublimation coefficient lambda 2.
