Medical oxygen
Colorless, odorless compressed medical gas. Used, among others, in resuscitation, it is widely used in the treatment of respiratory disorders. It is administered to support lung ventilation and in hyperbaric therapy. Oxygen therapy is beneficial in most forms of hypoxia, especially in patients with normal oxygen consumption who have a reduced oxygen tension in mixed venous blood when breathing atmospheric air.

Medical nitrous oxide
Most often used as an anesthetic and analgesic. Nitrous oxide is used to induce and maintain general anesthesia. In a mixture with oxygen, it is used to achieve an analgesic effect caused by light anesthesia without loss of consciousness (perinatal analgesia).

Medical carbon dioxide
Carbon dioxide is commonly used to create environments that resemble physiological conditions. It is mainly used to protect the functioning of artificial organs and in cryosurgery. In laparoscopic surgery, carbon dioxide is insufflated into the surgical site to increase endoscopic visibility. Carbon dioxide is also used as a component of mixtures with oxygen and air to stimulate deep breathing.
